This was a physical theatre piece challenging the idea of humans being the centre of the Earth that took place around a block of ice. It was a very exciting production to light in terms of venue and scenography, both of which departed from a standard theatre set up. I really enjoy working with elements of nature like water and ice in theatre and so working with the block of ice was a lot of fun - something I would love to do again! The venue itself was a long stone cavern with exposed walls. This helped create a unique atmosphere in touch with the natural world.
